These types of challenges are more common than ever and it’s often necessary to step back and look at the whole picture of your organisation.
We are specialists in supporting companies just at the tipping point before full ‘Turnaround’ principles are required. Full Turnaround activities can be naturally aggressive and while they can get the ship going in the right direction, and create profitability, they often leave culture and employees in the wake.
Prior to tipping into full Turnaround, we can jump in and support you in a collaborative, but decisive way, to get all areas of the business moving as one again.
This is required to get an objective and independent view of where the business currently sits. It will involve reviews of culture, structure, people skills, the board structure, financial performance.
Value Stream and similar mapping techniques will be utilised to understand the current business position, along with group work with the company’s employees to understand current known or perceived challenges. This is a real blend of understanding the soft challenges and the data/financial/process issues.
Leaders in the business will receive documented feedback from this review for open discussion prior to moving onto the next stages of the process.
Information and data gathered during the Baseline review will then be used to collaboratively plan improvement activities and changes required. This analysis, along with standard strategy creation activities will build into a Future State Vision for the organisation.
Due to the collaborative approach undertaken through steps 1 and 2 we will already have overcome a number of the blockers and challenges to change, and the organisation is likely to have already grabbed some low hanging fruit.
Now that the future state and strategy has been created, we will support in running change readiness activities, business improvement tools training for project leads, and ongoing support to ensure that the organisations deliver the planned improvements.
