I have known Gavin for more than 14 years. Most recently working with him in the current business. Gavin is an extremely talented LSSMB who prides himself on professionalism and quality of work. He is an influencer of change with a technical skill set second to none. I most enjoy how he can flip flop between real engagement with associates and focus on practical problem solving. Gavin is one of the best teachers of lean six sigma that I’ve come across. I always look forward to the opportunities of working with him. A great guy who constantly makes a difference to your business.

I have had the pleasure to work with Gavin over the last 6 months on a large project that had lost scope. Gavin has been a great coach to help me get the project back on track. This has been done with the use of tools and techniques but also his thinking outside the box on statistics to help me think in a different way.

Gavin was my course tutor at Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. I found Gavin’s knowledge to be excellent and diverse. The experience was enjoyable and relaxing. Gavin has done a great job in training a goup of us in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt so far). He demonstrates an excellent understanding of the rather complex (at times) subject matter, yet conveys it in the simplest way – which is a great attribute for a trainer.

Gavin also understands the trainees needs very well and responds to questions and challenges very well, whilst keeping everyone engaged in the session.

Gavin is very clear and organised in his delivery of the content, using different methods to teach where possible to maintain variety and interest.

Gavin led the majority of the sessions for my LSSBB course. His training style was excellent, he communicated difficult and complex topics in a simple and straightforward way and built up strong empathy with the group, able to tell instinctively when things were not fully understood. As well as teaching Lean Six Sigma it was clear from discussion that Gavin mastered the techniques a long time ago himself and has been successfully using the tools on a consultancy basis ever since. While I only saw the training side of Gavin I would have no hesitation in engaging him to help solve business problems using LSS techniques.

I attended LSS Green Belt training which Gavin delivered, the training was engaging and the relevant examples really brought the LSS tools and tecniques to life. I would recomend Gavin to deliver this type of training to colleagues or anyone else interested in learning more about Lean Six Sigma.
